A differential photometer has been developed for ground based observations of the cosmic background radiation anisotropy and of diffuse galactic dust emission at millimetric wavelengths. Preliminary tests, which demonstrate the advantages of the three fields modulation with respect to the more conventional single subtraction, are reported. Both atmospheric fluctuations and instrumental offset are significantly reduced.
