The 2MV Van de Graaff particle accelerator at the University of Kent
provides a facility for simulating cosmic dust impacts of up to 20km/s
on experiments and materials. It is used for studying impact processes
on materials, preflight calibration and testing of dust impact detectors
and capture cells.
