Two-antenna scintillation observations (IPS), made at the EISCAT observatory in northern Scandinavia, provide unusually accurate measurements of the solar wind speed near the Sun. Here we show how the long inter-antenna baselines at EISCAT allow us to separate the contributions of fast and slow wind to a single IPS observation. We show as examples, an IPS observation of a quasi-static structure and one of a transient event.
