53Cr excesses from Kaba fayalite were measured. The correlation between 53Cr excesses and Mn/Cr ratios indicates the in situ decay of 53Mn. An error-weighted, least-squares, linear regression of the data yield (53Mn/55Mn)0 of (2.28 +/- 0.37) × 10^{-6}.
