We request three epochs of ATCA observations of the accreting neutron star binary 4U 1705-44 scheduled to be contemporaneous with (i.e. within one week of) our three 20 ksec Suzaku X-ray observations. The goals of our proposed study are: 1) detect and measure the flux density of 4U 1705-44 at 8.6, 4.8, 2.4 and 1.2 GHz and hence determine the spectral slope, 2) determine the importance of jet emission in this system, and how it changes with X-ray spectral state, 4) determine a self-consistent physical model of the accretion flow and jet, and 5) determine whether the X-ray to radio flux correlation seen in black hole binaries also applies to accreting neutron star systems. Our proposed observations will enhance our knowledge of accreting neutron star binaries.
