2001 Mars Odyssey has three experiments. GRS will map the surface
elemental composition. MARIE will characterize the Mars radiation
environment for risk to humans. THEMIS will map the mineralogy and
morphology with a camera and thermal IR imaging. Additional information
is contained in the original extended abstract.
