Observations made in late 2005 and early 2006 of the main-belt asteroid,
1857 Parchomenko, show that its lightcurve has a synodic period of
3.1177±0.0001h and amplitude of 0.22±0.02mag. On
three occasions, possible occultation or eclipse events were observed,
thus suggesting that the asteroid may be binary.
