This paper presents the power spectrum of the total 15-yr set (1974-1988) of the measurements at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory (USSR) of the solar line-of-sight velocity. The power spectrum reveals a splitting of the 160-min peak, which may be associated with the 11-yr solar cycle. In addition to the earlier reported periodicity, P0, of 160.009 (+ or - 1) min, a second periodicity P1 occurs, which is 160.014 (+ or - 1) min. It is suggested that the appearance of P1 might be the evidence of a sidelobe mode of the P0 oscillation, induced by rapid rotation of the central solar core.
