The Jπ=6+ and 7+ members of the Kπ=1+, 4p-2h rotational band in 18F are identified at Ex=9.472+/-0.010 MeV and Ex=11.074+/-0.020 MeV on the basis of their selective population in the 14N(7Li, t)18F reaction, on the basis of their measured excitation energies, and on the basis of comparisons between the angular distributions of these triton groups and the angular distributions of the triton groups corresponding to other members of this band. NUCLEAR REACTIONS 14N(7Li, t), E(7Li)=36 MeV, measured σ(E, θ), discussion of 4p-2h rotational band.
