A relation is established between the 13-day cosmic ray intensity oscillation at Huancayo and Fredericksburg observatories, during 1973-1974, and the modulation associated with the regular, high-speed solar wind streams. It is shown that the trend of the wave for the geomagnetic index Kp is nearly in phase opposition with the cosmic ray intensity, in agreement with Wilcox and Ness (1965), and Fairfield and Ness (1967).
