Scientific paper
The present paper investigates the propagation of magnetohydrodynamic shock waves in the radiation-transparent plasma of the outer layers of the solar chromosphere. The structure of the shock wave with deexcitation, the mechanism by which fast electrons are produced at the shock front, and the total energy of accelerated particles are discussed.
