We propose a 220 ks observation of PKS 1055+201 to probe the spectral and spatial structure of extended X-ray emission surrounding the narrow X-ray and radio jet. The system is unusual by showing only very weak radio emission from this extended ``tube.'' Our measurements will relate these structures to the magnetic fields, Doppler factors, and kinetic energy fluxes along the jet, giving a prime opportunity to constrain the system energetics.
