From a population of Galactic TeV gamma-ray sources newly detected with the H.E.S.S. telescope system, HESS J1841-053 is the only object which shows an extended, bipolar TeV morphology, together with an X-ray binary at the core of the source. We propose to use Chandra observations on the lobes of HESS J1841-053 to identify the nature of the TeV source and to verify its association with the central object. If the suggested identification holds, HESS J1841-053 would represent a new type of X-ray/TeV source.
