I study the dynamical stability of spherically symmetric gravitational equilibria of cold stellar objects made of bosons and fermions. I show that the theorem on stability valid for stars consisting of a perfect fluid and for Bose stars can also be applied to mixed objects. Using this theorem one can determine the boundary between stable and unstable equilibrium configurations.
