The authors present the interstellar neutral sodium spectra obtained towards three Large Magellanic Cloud stars: HDE 269700 at a resolution of 8 km s-1; HDE 269858f and HDE 269859 at 5 km s-1 resolution. These are the first results of remotely linked spectroscopy through an optical fiber at ESO - La Silla. Discovered as an S Dor-type variable, the authors detect in HDE 269858f (R 127) broad Na I absorptions probably due to an ejected and cooled circumstellar envelope.
