Magellanic Clouds: Chemical Evolution, Magellanic Clouds: Galactic Winds

Scientific paper

A model is proposed for the chemical evolution of the Large Magellanic
Cloud, it includes episodic star formation and a galactic wind. The high
iron-to-oxygen ratio observed in the LMC is shown to be naturally
explained by the model with an enriched galactic wind.
