We provide the results of the numerical simulation of the shock wave dynamics as well as the particle acceleration and transport in the course of the 2002, April, 21 CME event. The ambient solar wind parameters are obtained in the 3D MHD steady-state simulation run driven by the WSA semi-empirical model for the solar wind acceleration and heating. The high-resolution MDI magnetogram is used to set the boundary condition for the magnetic field at the coronal base. The Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) is simulated by superimposing the force-free, marginally stable semi-toroidal current loop. The dynamics of the shock wave driven by the CME is compared with the LASCO observations. The obtained evoluation of the shock wave is used in calculating the Solar Energetic Particle acceleration by the shock wave and their tarnsport throgh the realistic 3D distribution of the interplanetary magnetic field.
