In the paper disintegration of comets in the Solar System was investigated. Various mechanisms as impacts with the Sun, collisions with planets and asteroids, sublimation of a cometary nucleus were considered. Calculations were done for large range of cometary parameters and it was shown that sublimation of a cometary nucleus played the main role in the considered phenomena.
