We use TIDI neutral winds obtained from 2002 to 2006 to study the tidal waves in the mesosphere and lower thermosphere. We will examine migrating tidal waves, their seasonal variations, latitudinal and altitude distributions. We will also explore their inter-annual variability based on multiyear dataset in connection with QBO and possibly with solar activity level. We will also show our analysis results for planetary waves. Comparisons will be made with model run results and ground based radar observations. Measurements from three TIDI O2 emission line filters will be investigated for consistence.
