The first sun-like star targeted by MOST was Procyon. This bright star with well-determined parameters and convincing evidence for the existence of p-modes from groundbased observa- tions was expected to be an easy object for us. To our surprise (and to the surprise of many experts) we were unable to identify any p-modes. We returned to Procyon twice. Based on the results from the latest run, with noise levels reduced by a factor of two over previous runs, we are now ready to comment on the nature of Proycon and its oscillation spectrum.
