The use of data from antenna 6 (4.5 km baseline) of the ATCA for the AT20G follow-up observations at 20 GHz has allowed the selection of objects with extended structure. AGN s with flat spectrum and extended structure are excellent gravitational lens candidates. A careful selection of these objects has provided us with a number of candidates that now need to be followed up to ascertain their nature. There is only one known radio lens system in the Southern hemisphere while 22 have been confirmed in the Northern hemisphere. Preliminary calculations suggest that we can expect to find between 3 and 7 gravitational lens systems with our study. We aim to follow up ~15 candidates to make high resolution images using the new 7 mm receiver of the ATCA.
