We propose to resume our radio monitoring of the exceptional Type IIn Supernova 1978K in NGC 1313. The once-smooth radio decline has shown much more variability in recent years, reflecting changes in the supernova progenitor's mass-loss rate up to thousands of years prior to explosion. The longer we continue to track the radio emission from SN 1978K, the more we learn about the nature of the progenitor, as well as getting closer to detecting the two ultra-luminous X-ray sources in NGC 1313.
