The results are analyzed of measurements of solar proton fluxes with energies above 5 MeV, which were carried out in high-latitude regions of the earth's magnetosphere. The integral proton spectra are examined, and the variation of the rigidity index with time is identified. Some characteristic features of the spatial distribution of protons are interpreted on the basis of modern concepts of the mechanism of solar cosmic ray penetration into the earth's magnetosphere.
