Gravity Waves
Scientific paper
Gravity waves are ripples in spacetime generated by the motions of dense, massive objects. Also called gravitational radiation, they travel through space at the speed of light and distort things in their path by a minute, but possibly measurable, amount. Einstein's theory of general relativity predicted gravity waves. Scientists are currently discussing the best way to trap and study them.
