The signature of early protostars in CO line emission was calculated, taking into account the possibility that MHD waves may be generated in the differentially rotating core. The result obtained was that the CO line shape of unresolved protostars is broadened, corresponding to supersonic but sub-Alfvenic turbulent velocities, and that it has extended low intensity wings.
