Based on Fort Churchill data for the years 1962-72, a 27-day recurrence tendency is suspected for the major characteristics of Pc 5 pulsations. Among the characteristics measured were occurrence, amplitude, and period. Sunspot number was found to strongly affect period (except for diurnal variations), while the correlation of sunspots with occurrence was less pronounced. Occurrence was found to peak in the morning hours during all phases of solar activity. Amplitude varied the most with magnetic activity, as did occurrence to a somewhat lesser degree.
