Emission-line ratios have been obtained for a large number of individual knots in NGC 6888. The observations indicate that the variation of the forbidden N II/H-alpha ratio across the face of the nebula is due to a variation in ionization. N and He are also shown to be overabundant relative to normal H II regions in the Galaxy. It is therefore concluded that there is large-scale mixing in Wolf-Rayet stars prior to shell ejection.
