The use of a computer in the undergraduate astrophysics course is useful in presenting the radiative transfer processes in a stellar atmosphere. The students experiment on a computer model to determine how the properties of the star, the temperature and opacity, determine the nature of the observed spectrum of a star. Sample results of the students' experimentation are presented.
