Meteorites:Classification
Scientific paper
This paper offers a new interpretation of the plagioclase-POIK
mesosiderites Bondoc, Budulan, and Mincy as poikilitic, thus
substantially changing the percentage of mesosiderites in which the
matrix appears to have been a melt. All mesosiderites, of course,
contain clasts from preexisting igneous rocks.
