We construct a spacetime which models the ``rolling phase'' of a Linde-Guth scenario. Although the spacetime has neither the special symmetries, nor the event horizons, of de Sitter space, we show it does have de Sitter-like Hawking radiation. This Hawking temperature necessitates modifying the use of the finite temperature effective potential in the proposed scenarios.
