Color confinement allows for multi-quark hadronic states with four or more quarks. Since the late 1970's, there has been a great deal of speculation that scalar mesons, exotics and molecular states may be understood in terms of the multi-quark spectrum. We discuss the initial stages of a program to compute the complete multi-quark spectrum in lattice QCD with dynamical fermions.
