We propose a review of the quasi-periodic processes occuring in the Jovian and the Kronian magnetospheres combining radio, magnetic and plasma observations from Galileo and Cassini. The relationships between the radio 'events' and injections and/or evacuations of plasma in the disc/magnetotail regions will be illustrated and discussed. The status of models and theoretical analysis will be also shortly presented.
