Baker-Nunn cameras have been modified to perform simultaneous observations. When only two stations are involved in simultaneous observing, the directions in an absolute system of reference of the line connecting the two stations can be determined. Fifty-six pairs of simultaneous observations between stations Villa Dolores, Argentina; Arequipa, Peru; Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles; Jupiter, Florida; and Organ Pass, New Mexico, indicate that an accuracy of better than 1 min of arc can be expected.
