An investigation of supergranule motions indicated horizontal velocities with peak values of 0.36 km/s as observed in Fe I 8688 A. The supergranule vertical velocities near the disk center in Fe I 8688 have rms values of 0.01 km/s or less, allowing for the five-minute oscillations, granule motions, and detector drift. Downward velocities below 0.1 km/s in regions of strong magnetic field measured with unpolarized light were attributed to the higher downflow inside the elements and are not associated with supergranule motions.
