We calculate the relative strengh of the dipole and quadrupole
anisotropies of the cosmic background raidiation in homogeneous
anisotropic cosmologies. We find that the quadrupole amplitude typically
exceeds the dipole one, especially for the curvature-driven mode of
anisotropy.
