A two-soliton exact solution of the vacuum Einstein equations has been
constructed. This solution represents soliton waves propagating on a
Bianchi type-I cosmological model. The solution represents one of the
possible mechanisms of creation of gravitational waves due to the
initial inhomogeneity of the universe.
