The paper examines a generalization of the Tolman potential form of the integral of total energy-mass for nonstatic centrosymmetric distributions of matter in V4 R-domains. The local law of the conservation of the total energy of gravitational field and matter in general relativity is examined in the framework of the quasi-Newtonian Gauss-Tolman theorem. The Schwarzschild mass, the equivalent of total energy in the presence of T-domains in semiclosed sphere models, is shown to be positive. It follows that the gravitational mass defect cannot exceed the proper total energy of matter.
