X-ray fluctuations on time scale of 100 ˜ 200 sec detected by
Matilsky et al. from the quasar 1525+227 violate a constraint on the
fastest time scales proposed by Cavallo and Rees. We propose a cloud
with nonspherical geometry, which can reasonably account for X-ray
fluctuations in 1525+227.
