From eight nights of photoelectric UBV observations of the 77 Frigga asteroid during the 1982 opposition, at phase angles smaller than 2.8 deg, a synodic period of 0.3755 + or - 0.0006 days is derived. The light curve appears to be symmetric, with two maxima per period and an amplitude of 0.19 m. B-V and U-V color indices are 0.738 + or 0.003 and 0.2 + or - 0.002 m, respectively, and the primary maximum corresponds to 8.58 m.
