Telescope Mounts
Scientific paper
Designing principles and deflection measurements for a raised yoke mount of a 1.56 m astrometrical telescope are briefly described. The pointing accuracy amounts to only several arcsec when the telescope is moved from 0h to 6h. The lowest eigenfrequency of the telescope is 6.5 Hz. The use of welded structures obviously can produce a higher damping.
