Photoelectric observations of 44 Nysa made in March 1981 are discussed. An amplitude of 0.33m is observed between the secondary maximum and minimum. The color indices (B-V) are, respectively, 0.70m and 0.24m. The observation runs are shown in a composite lightcurve, noting that the considerable scatter detected during the second night is due to cloudy conditions. The agreement found between theoretical and observed values of amplitude supports earlier calculations of the polar position and the shape of 44 Nysa.
