This paper reviews several aspects of supernova evolution and
nucleosynthesis where nuclear physics input is relevant. These include
the role of neutrino nucleus inelastic scattering in supernova dynamics
and the emitted supernova neutrino spectrum, nucleosynthesis in
proton-rich supernova ejecta and fission in r-process nucleosynthesis.
