We will use STIS far UV imaging and long-slit spectroscopy to investigate the morphology and physical conditions in high excitation Herbig-Haro objects. FUV imaging in a bandpass containing the CIV emission line will delineate the morphology of high excitation gas and identify regions suitable for followup spectroscopy. Low resolution {G140L} long-slit spectroscopy will identify and map the various ionic and molecular components of the FUV emission. Medium resolution {G140M} long-slit spectroscopy will provide maps of the velocity structure in the CIV emission and will probe the physical conditions producing fluorescent emission from molecular hydrogen.
