The authors consider in some detail various technical considerations, including the decorrelating effects of the ionosphere and interplanetary medium, and conclude that low frequency very long baseline interferometry observations involving Quasat and Earth-based antennas would be feasible, particularly if sources are observed when they are in the anti-solar hemisphere.
