Monitor NUV MAMA dark current as a function of time from SAA. Early SMOV observations indicate a higher background than seen on the ground. This is thought to be due to cosmic-ray induced phosphoresence in the NUV-MAMA window. Characterizing the variation in dark current with time after an SAA passage is important both to insure robustness of the turnon procedure and to determine the science impact of the increased dark current.
