The statistical test method is used to study the dynamical evolution of 3000 triple systems with equal-mass components in three-dimensional space. It is shown that: (1) the nature of the evolution of triple systems in three-dimensional space is not qualitatively different from the evolution of planar systems; and (2) the lower mean estimate of decay time of the objects under investigation is equal to (172.8 + or - 2.8) tau, where tau is the mean time of system intersection by a component.
