Starburst regions are rare; hence, one must go out to large distances to encounter even one. However, beyond LG galaxies, even HST has trouble resolving individual stars within starbursts. Thus, the best place to probe the stellar content and the dynamical structure of starbursts is within the LG itself, despite their inherently small number there. I will examine and compare the most massive LG starburst regions, based mainly on pre corrected-optics HST observations: NGC 604 and 595 in M33; 30 Dor in the LMC; and NGC 3603 in the Galaxy. Although the massive stellar content of O- and WR-stars is qualitatively similar in these objects, their structure is not. For example, NGC 3603 appears to be a clone of R136 at the core of 30 Dor, but lacks the massive surrounding stellar halo surrounding R136.
