Magnetic reconnection at the heliospheric current sheets (CS) is likely to be one of the important sources of high energy electrons and protons/ions in the interplanetary space. There are several unexplained features in-situ observations, such as the accelerated particles asymmetry, velocity profile asymmetry and high energy electron densities about the heliospheric current sheet (HCS). In this paper the simulated dynamics of electrons and protons at acceleration in a reconnecting current sheet obtained from 3-D PIC simulation is probed by high-resolution measurements of the sector boundary, or the HCS crossings (SBSs) in the solar wind at 1 AU. Different types of the sector boundary crossings are considered from a single to more complex ones, lasting for several days. A likehood of the observed plasma parameters and simulated profiles of velocity and density of accelerated electrons and ions across the HCS are discussed in association with the effects of polarization (Hall) and turbulent electric fields induced by accelerated particles during their acceleration in the HCS. Implications of findings for the interpretation of the solar wind observations are also discussed.
