About 900 PNe candidates have been found by the Macquarie/AAO/Strasbourg Halpha PNe project using the AAO/UKST Halpha survey. This proposal seeks to use the snapshot mode of the AT to obtain 6cm and 3 cm continuum flux densities of a selection of the confirmed new PNe and hence the range of nebular ionizations of the PNe free of extinction effects present in optical observations. Improved distance estimates will also be obtained using a relationship between PNe radii and radio surface brightnesses.
