A study has been conducted of Mn-Cr isotopic systematics in three pallasites and one aubrite, in order to adduce additional evidence for the abundance of Mn-53 in these planetary differentiates. Much evidence has been obtained of widespread Mn-53 in pallasites; the mean life of Mn-53 is sufficiently long for it to persist through the period of early planetary differentiation. Experimental difficulties with fractionation are noted.
